The Math of Stories is a collaborative effort between the Gr. 9 Math and Humanities programs at the Willow Park School for Arts-Centred Learning. Our guiding question has been "How might better understanding the craft of storytelling make us better problem solvers?".
To view a short video outlining the various student experiences please click here. Experiences are explained in more detail on the pages of this site.
This initiative was supported by a generous STEAM grant from ConocoPhillips and the expertise of the Calgary Board of Education's Design Thinking specialists who facilitated 4 Innovation Incubator meetings and provided support throughout the year.
For more information on the Math of Stories or to inquire about collaborative possibilities please contact James Davidge at jcdavidge@cbe.ab.ca.
