Linear Relations Comix
in November grade nines worked with comic artist Nick Johnson to explore linear relations and other math concepts using 3-panel comics. The basics of storytelling structure were taught as students visually expressed the mathematical beginning, middle and end of a helicopter descending. Students then made comics about various other math strategies.
